NAPA Steel Import

NAPA Steel Import makes it possible to transfer a (complete) NAPA Steel model to the Nupas-Cadmatic 3D hull database.

The existing topology in the NAPA Steel model is fully preserved and adopted by the Nupas-Cadmatic database. Once the model is transferred it can be used for further detailed engineering as if it was created with Nupas-Cadmatic Hull. The module offers tools and functionality to tune structural model details between both model types like brackets, profiles, cutouts, holes, face plates etc.

Export to Tribon Hull

With this tool it is possible to generate so called Tribon scheme files.

The Tribon Export tool reads the Nupas-Cadmatic Hull database and creates scheme files that are used to rebuild the Tribon hull database. Transferring a model is done in several phases in order to preserve possible references to hull shape and construction parts. For every panel in Nupas-Cadmatic Hull a Tribon scheme file is created. Tuning of project standards like end types, brackets, cutouts, holes etc. is required.

2D DXF/DWG in/out

This module is used to import and export 2D views and drawings from and into other drafting systems according to the AutoCAD® DXF and DWG formats.

3D DXF/DWG out

This module is used to export 3D geometry to other drafting systems according to the AutoCAD® DXF and DWG formats. For users who have the need to translate the 3D hull model into the AutoCAD® format, the Hull ARX plug in module for AutoCAD® is available. This tool converts a native 3D hull model into the AutoCAD® 3D workspace for further processing. Download the Hull ARX plug in from the download page.
